Use the actual work pattern to define the review: preparation, service, cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance may occur at different times. Keep occupational safety questions distinct from food-safety and other specialist compliance requirements.
Describe the work behind the guest experience
Include back-of-house routes, stores, delivery periods and the teams using them. Explain where guest and staff movements overlap. A lobby-only visit cannot establish the condition of a kitchen, laundry or service yard that was not included in the agreed scope.
Account for cleaning and maintenance periods
Cleaning after service and repairs during occupancy need their own context. Identify who commissions the task and how the affected area is handed over. Ask which documents and responsible staff should be available for the review, especially where an external contractor performs the work.
Illustrative example: an event changes the normal layout
A function adds temporary service points and different movement routes. Prepare the changed layout, event timing and responsibilities for setup and removal. The review should address the changed activity; an earlier observation of the ordinary arrangement does not settle the new one.
Plan learning around the roster
Give learner roles, preferred dates and how many people can be released from each shift. Compare the exact first-aid, fire-training or SHE-representative listing with the intended need. Ask for confirmed delivery and assessment details instead of treating a general course label as proof that all hospitality functions are covered.

|---|---|---|
| Service | Staff and guest movement | Which interfaces are in scope? |
| Cleaning | Areas and timing | Who accepts the handover? |
| Event setup | Temporary layout | What has changed since the last review? |
