Training records register

Maintain exact course, outcome and review-source records in an editable register.

The register records the document’s actual wording and the source of any review requirement. It does not assign a universal expiry period.

Worked example

The fictional row leaves the review date unresolved until a source is confirmed. That is more accurate than adding a standard number of years to every course date. Keep attendance, assessment and employer role evidence distinct.

Use the resource

Use a controlled learner reference and restrict access appropriately. Store sensitive completion documents through the organisation’s existing process and link to them rather than embedding them in a widely shared worksheet.

How to use it

  1. Record the exact completed programme.
  2. Link the source document.
  3. Verify any review requirement and its source.
  4. Track workplace follow-up separately.
