Course Overview:
This course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to work safely in confined spaces on construction sites. The course is specifically tailored for the South African audience and complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85 of 1993) regulations.
Course Objectives:

To provide learners with an understanding of the legal requirements and responsibilities for working in confined spaces on construction sites.

To equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to identify and evaluate confined space hazards and implement appropriate control measures.

To enable learners to develop and implement confined space entry procedures and emergency procedures.

To provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilation equipment when working in confined spaces.

The course will be delivered over 1 days, with a total of 8 hours of training.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate is valid for 12 months.
