Course Overview:
This course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to work safely at heights. The course is specifically tailored for the South African audience and complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85 of 1993) regulations.

Course Objectives:

To provide learners with an understanding of the legal requirements and responsibilities for working at heights.

To equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to identify and evaluate workplace hazards related to working at heights.

To enable learners to implement appropriate safety measures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working at heights.

To provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to plan and carry out work at heights safely

The course will be delivered over 1 days, with a total of 8 hours of training.

A written test to assess learners' knowledge of working at heights principles and procedures.

A practical assessment to evaluate learners' ability to plan and carry out work at heights safely

Certification:

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate is valid for 12 months.
